16 Top Photogenic Moments of 2016

Going on a honeymoon immediately after our wedding was up for debate only for a nanosecond. A series of overwhelming and unexpected life events were happening simultaneously. Did we really want to plan and embark on a honeymoon in the midst of us moving to another city, relocating jobs, going back to school, and planning a wedding? Well, I was adamant for a trip 100%, but it was my husband who needed a tad more convincing.

It was quickly agreed upon that to make everything work, my job would be to plan the wedding and honeymoon. His job would be to find us a new place to live in a new city after he was unexpectedly being transferred for work. All of the events were good news, things that we both wanted and were waiting for. But when it rains it pours, and that was the case when everything started happening at the same time.

It was a tumultuous year, but traveling through California for two weeks made the chaos worth it, even though we were both sick at the start of our travels. Mountains of stress and excitement with no sleep will undeniably do that to you. What can you do, but to power through my jam-packed itinerary? We did just that and were rewarded with a very memorable and beautiful trip away.
